The Low Carbon Delusions Of Sadiq Khan

Inevitably, the roads began to fill up again as the great socialist experiment to make us all do what we are told failed and continues to fail despite the low emission zones spreading, and some morphing into ultra-low emission zones (ULEZ) so beloved of the great Khant himself. If figures for March 2023 from the Mayor’s Office are to be believed then the measures have reduced the number of ‘polluting vehicles’ on the road in London, reduced emissions and made London a much cleaner place in which to get stabbed. Maybe so, but does it have any real effect on health? Nobody knows.

Oxfam

Oxfam R.I.P.

An assault on language is an assault on truth. A lexicon which no longer affords accurate description is hostage to those who set the boundaries of acceptable discourse. This is not a tenable position for democracy.

‘A Terribly White Balcony’

Whites are already a minority in Britain’s major cities (‘So what?’ comment our politicians), but perhaps the process would be successfully catalysed by mandatory diversity quotas upon white families? It’s sure to be a vote-winner. Keir Starmer should consider prioritizing it in the next Labour Party manifesto.

The Risible Case For Reparations

How precisely would reparations be enforced? Where is the line, both historically and factually, to be drawn? What proofs are going to be required to justify payment? Is it historic injustice we seek to redress, or merely historic success? Which countries are to be held to account? Only Britain? Only white countries? Only the West? And how exactly are these gargantuan sums to be financed? These are questions which need answers.

How To End Quota Casting

None of this is real, whereas what we often admire about programs is their scrupulous attention to detail and accurate depictions of reality. Although, even reality is being forced to conform to quotas these days, judging by Adjoa Andoh’s contemptible ‘terribly white balcony’ comments re the Coronation

Big Brother

Big Brother is Watching You

Call me a cynic, but is this mere coincidence, or is the Coronation being used as an experiment in the use of facial recognition technology, and potentially yet another erosion of our basic right to anonymity? We have no guarantee that such technology will not remain in place after the ceremony and, of course, if a would-be terrorist is caught, or if the day passes without incident, this will undoubtedly be claimed as a success for the surveillance; I confess, I have misgivings.

Covid

Conservatives burning their Bridgens

Bridgen, in common with many such as the members of HART (Health Advisory and Recovery Team) who are genuine experts in their fields, are concerned about extending the vaccine rollout to very young children on both ethical and medical grounds. He discussed this in an interview with Neil Oliver on GB News. There are copious reasons, apart from the fact that very young children and babies do not need a Covid vaccine, such is their very low level of risk, but the side effects may be more harmful to them and outweigh any benefits of being vaccinated.

Just Stop Oil

Just Stop

Just Stop Oil have not just promised to sabotage a summer’s worth of sporting events, they have taken a further step and are once again causing chaos in the streets of London; thereby prolonging the rush hour and its concomitant environmental impact. Bedecked in the latest high-vis jackets, with banners and signs blocking roads, they
