The New Conservative (TNC) is a forum for conservatives in heart, not name only. We hope to provide a voice for those disillusioned by the current ‘Conservative’ government, from the red wall of the north to the manor houses of the south.
We are passionate believers in free speech for all, even those we disagree with. Our words will certainly offend from time to time (they’d be meaningless if they did not). This is not something we shall ever apologise for.
Our mission is simple: to force the Conservative Party to honour its name (by the adoption of genuine conservative values), or to lend our support to those more inclined to do so. While there are undoubtedly many within the Party who share our concerns, the Executive is not upholding the wishes of the electorate – it must be held to account.
If you believe in:
- Government’s first duty to protect the citizenry
- Unequivocal freedom of speech
- Border control
- Fiscal responsibility
- The state as servant, not master
- The law applied without fear or favour
- Low taxes
- An end to grooming gangs & their cover-ups
- A robust response to charlatan wokery
- Economic stability before Green virtue-signalling
