The Death of Britain

The furore raised by Professor Matt Goodwin’s latest research – that White Brits will become a minority in the UK by 2063 – is somewhat unjustified. This is neither a knock on Goodwin personally (I like what I’ve seen of him, for what it’s worth), nor his conclusions. It’s merely the fact that such information has been in the public domain for at least the past two decades, and that previous estimates (which always tend to underestimate the problem) were closer to 2050. Nonetheless it’s a stark missive, irrespective of the date on the postage stamp.

In summary, these are Goodwin’s major findings:

· Unless there is a radical change of policy, the share of the UK population that is White British will fall sharply from just over 70 per cent today to below 34 per cent by the year 2100.

· Whites will be a minority in the country in 2063, just 38 years from now. Among the under-40s, the tipping point will come much sooner, in 2050.

· A child born today, will be living in what is close to becoming a White British minority country by the time they turn 25.

· By the year 2100, based on current trends, around six in 10 people in the UK will not have been born in the UK, or born to UK-born parents.

· By the year 2100, our immediate descendants will be living in a country in which the White British will only comprise one third of the population; people with long and strong roots in this country will only represent around four in every 10 people, down from eight in 10 today.

· Somewhere between one fifth and one third of all people will follow the Islamic faith.

With or without the concrete projections, anyone with their eye vaguely on the ball can see that the landscape of Britain has changed irreparably within recent decades. Churches are closing at record rates, with many converted directly into mosques. Rather unsurprisingly, the English pub is dying its death –more than one closes every day. Even accounting for the 14 spelling variants, Muhammad is the most popular UK baby’s name (and has been for a while), followed closely by his first cousins Muhammad, Mohammed, Mohammad, Muhammed, Mohamed, Mohamad, Muhamad, Muhamed, Mohamud, Mohummad, Mohummed, Mouhamed, Mohammod, and Mouhamad. And thanks to mass immigration, the UK birth rate may be plummeting but the population is surging – go figure!

Of course, the precise countdown to annihilation matters much less than the professed indifference of both our leaders and our would-be saviours. To the ‘So what?’ Sajid Javids of this world, a White minority in Britain was a populist lie all the while they could deny it; a non-issue when forced to acknowledge it. Those safe in the knowledge that Reform UK will stem the tide meanwhile, may wish to think again. Nigel Farage is on record as saying he isn’t concerned about the demographic decline of White British people. In contrast, Richard Tice has assured us that it is ‘a long way off’, and that he will be ‘long gone.’ As long as you’re OK, Jack.

The idea that demographic change on a scale never before witnessed in Britain is neither noteworthy, consequential, nor a threat to Britishness is profoundly insincere – it is of course, all of these things.

It is noteworthy, because the idea that national identity is merely a function of temporary geography is something entirely western, and would be considered alien by much of the rest of the world. Try selling it in Africa or Asia, and you’d be laughed out of court. In Korea for instance (where I have some experience) you can, after considerable effort, become a Korean citizen. You cannot ever become Korean, and no Korean would seriously entertain such a possibility.

It is consequential, because even the loudest cheerleaders of multiculturalism have finally had to call it out for what it is: a busted flush. The Swedish Prime Minister accepts that integration of immigrants has failed, while fuelling gang crime. Arch-globalist Emmanuel Macron has had to concede that ‘at least half of Paris crime is committed by foreigners’. Closer to home, it’s not difficult to see that a declining White population has many undesirable consequences. Of the five most dangerous cities in Britain (Bradford, Coventry, Birmingham, Manchester and London) only Coventry has a majority White population, and that’s soon to change.

Uncontrolled immigration is also, rather obviously, a threat to Britishness, not least because the multicultural experiment which heralded it requires no integration whatsoever on behalf of the invaders – with many proponents of such policies proudly proclaiming that ‘Britishness doesn’t exist.’ How on earth can the massive influx of foreign nationals, whose values hardly align with our own, not cause a threat to British identity?

Finally, anathema to our politicians and commentators, is the issue of Whiteness itself – decried as a cancer which ought not only to be treated, but stamped out entirely. Yet whiteness is far more than just a maligned skin colour – subsumed within that outer layer is the blood of our ancestors; ties to our land, our history, our people, our culture, our heritage. A non-White Britain doesn’t just mean the end of the British pub, village cricket and the Sunday roast – it means nothing less than the death of Britain itself.

Relentless pursuit of the handover of Britain to those with no ties to anything, except their own particular tribe, cannot end well for any of those involved. And it may be worth pointing out, that no minority will ever be given less tolerance than a White minority in a once White country.

So I ask you, just how British will Britain be when it’s no longer British? And how much do you think your grandchildren will thank us for squandering their inheritance?
